President Trump’s media group told the SEC it expects to complete its merger with nuclear fusion company TAE Technologies of Foothill Ranch late this year.
“Subject to the satisfaction of the conditions to the merger, the merger is expected to close in late-2026,” the Trump Media & Technology Group told the SEC in a filing dated Monday.
The proposed merger was announced in December.
TAE is seeking to develop nuclear fusion energy to generate electricity, in a long-shot bid to provide nearly endless supplies of power.
