Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback room set the fashion standard high Sunday in Paris, simulating European-style looks from their favorite show “Peaky Blinders” with three-piece suits and flat caps.
The idea spawned from backup quarterback Mason Rudolph, who reached out to clothing designer Mitch Purgason to have the suits custom-made for this game.
Rudolph explained that the Steelers quarterback room bonds over “Peaky Blinders.” The show is extremely British, not French. But Rudolph’s idea was to lean into United Kingdom experience and display with energy that they connect with personally.
Purgason said he flew up to Pittsburgh to custom-fit the Steelers quarterback room 13 days ago, then he and his associate stylist, Rachel Leskowsky, went to work making the suits in about nine days. Purgason then flew up to hand-deliver the fits last minute before their flight to Paris.
The work is worth it for looks as clean as the Steelers quarterback room. They posed for pregame pictures in Paris, and it exuded boss energy. Will this lead to more NFL positional groups leaning into translating their personal connection niche into fashion?
Here are Week 7’s most fashionable NFL player gameday fits that caught our eye:

Sunday’s best
A return game for Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III on “Sunday Night Football” prompted a simple, yet sleek outfit. He wore all-white ahead of his first game against the Seattle Seahawks since signing with Kansas City in the offseason. His fellow teammates, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and L’Jarius Sneed, all rocked suits.

It was tracksuits galore in the afternoon slate, with Ramsdefensive tackle Aaron Donald styling a black look with a pair of shades. Meanwhile, Raidersdefensive end Maxx Crosby broke out a white jumpsuit, showing off his ink with an unzipped jacket.

Though Sunday marked a holiday in National Tight Ends Day, that didn’t stop Rodgers and the Steelers quarterback room from channeling their inner “Peaky Blinders” in Paris with coordinated suits, boots, flat cap and all.

Thursday’s looks
Caleb Williams kept it sharp ahead of “Thursday Night Football,” pairing a navy suit with a black crewneck shirt. The Chicago Bears quarterback skipped the tie but not the wired earbuds. Naturally, he had his matcha drink in one hand and a structured brown leather bag in the other.
