Dust2.us has confirmed with Voca that the team have benched Carson “nosraC” O’Reilly and are set to begin the search for a new IGL. The benching comes after Voca were all but ruled out of qualifying for the PGL Major Singapore after missing out on playoffs at Elisa BreakOut Series #2 last week. That result led Voca to drop out of FiReSPORTS LAST CHANCE 2026 yesterday, with the team now revisiting the leadership of the team as they prepare for next season.
nosraC spent a year with Voca, joining the Indian organization alongside Getting Info as part of Voca’s entry into the Counter-Strike 2 scene. During his time at the helm of Voca, nosraC helped establish Voca as one of the stronger squads in the NA subtop, quickly pushing past the likes of Masrborne, LAG, and regain to hold a firm spot in the Top Ten in North America.
However, nosraC’s Voca struggled to find consistent breakthroughs against the upper crust of the NA scene, with wins against M80 and NRG especially proving elusive; sending Voca out of a number of pivotal qualifiers and LAN events.

On the international front, Voca had mixed results, with a playoffs berth at ROG Journey Autumn 2026 being a high watermark for the team while the group stage exit at Elisa BreakOut Series #2 was a disappointing end to the season.
Overall these results have seen Voca spend much of the season outside the Top 60 on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), with the team briefly peaking at #41 back in March while currently sitting at #62.
In replacing nosraC, voca will likely struggle to find an IGL that can match nosraC’s experience unless they seek an international name. In a region notoriously short of IGLs, nosraC’s experience is only exceeded by a troublingly short list consisting of old veterans like Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, and Jake “Stewie2K” Yip.
With nosraC moving to the bench, Voca are now:
-
Kory “SEMPHIS” Friesen (Coach) -
Carson “nosraC” O’Reilly (Inactive)
